Ougar

Ougar

Ougars are among the many corrupted creatures that roam the lands of Auro. When the dark master created them, his intent was to breed a race of soldiers for his great war. At first glance, they resemble a deformed, bulky human fused with traits of several other beasts. The ougars were bred by the servants of Ohrimah before the onset of the great war. To say they were bred unnaturally would be an understatement.

They are extremely stocky and much taller than one might expect when viewed from a distance, with large, flat noses and red eyes hidden beneath a mane that encircles their heads, shoulders, and upper back. Though their legs resemble those of a muscular auroch, most of their skin is exposed, as they do not wear clothing. Their flesh is clammy and pale, with the exception of thick fur covering their forearms and parts of their lower legs, just above their hooves.

Due to their bestial bodies, ougars can run much faster than humans and deliver devastating blows with their clenched fists—when they aren’t wielding crude clubs or hurling debris from afar. They are typically found in small groups, as they are known to fight and brutalize one another. However, when they do find one or more fellow ougars they can tolerate, they tend to stick together—at least until something gives them a reason to fight.

They are, without question, some of the most unreliable servants the dark master has ever created. Still, the fear of Ohrimah is enough to compel their loyalty—at least for now.
