The Ivoru Guard

The Ivoru Guard is an order of warriors, fierce and unyielding. Those who stand among its ranks are held in high regard, fabled to embody the very spirit of the great Master, Indaran. Like Indaran himself, these warriors are deeply bound to the virtues of power and courage, which guide them in how they wage war. Though many outsiders view their approach to battle as reckless or sometimes savage, the orcs see no greater virtue than a willingness to fall in combat in service to the gods and the Master in whose image they were fashioned.

As such, it should be no surprise that the order is composed exclusively of orcs. It was founded to protect their people from further massacres after one of their own betrayed them, an act that led to the loss of countless orcish lives in the events preceding the great war.

During the War of Strife and Sorrow, the Ivoru Guard fought tirelessly to defend their lands from the minions of the gloom in the frozen north, a realm where evil reigns supreme and which has sought to crush them ever since the traitor turned against them. The survival of the orcs is owed largely to these warriors, a truth that becomes even more evident as The Master’s Core series continues.
